Sondes Tea House is a totally wonderful and welcoming place to eat . Mouthwatering vegetarian\vegan food in a quirky setting. They even have a little grocery store to stock up with supplies, to bring back home to cook in the cottage. Just a 5 minute drive away. Daytime opening only.

Sondes is totally dog friendly, as too are both are village pubs, The Woolpack, at the bottom of The Street and The White Horse in The Square.
if you wish to spoil yourselves or are visiting to celebrate a special occasion why not head over the The Pig at Bridge to eat. A 30 minute drive, but totally worth it. A boutique hotel with a fabulous restaurant, serving local produce. We suggest you book in advance for a table, as it gets busy.
The Goods Shed in Canterbury is a dream. Permanent farmers market, housed in the old railway goods shed. Just 15 minutes away, with a fabulous restaurant, that also gets very busy.

Queen Bee Home, is another of our favourites. Tucked away down Mercery Lane, in Canterbury, just opposite the Cathedral Gate. A beautiful gift and interiors shop , plus a great cafe, which again is super dog friendly. Can you guess, we love our dogs !!!
SPOIL YOURSELF
Why not treat yourself to a lovely Spa Treatment at our favourite place. The Granary Spa, just a short drive away, is THE place to relax. Be pampered in the barn or the shepherds hut with 100% organic and vegan products. This small and intimate award winning spa is a dream, with free tea and cake included, after your treatment..true heaven !

We love a market, but a good one ! Faversham has markets throughout the week, A fab one on a Saturday when the town is buzzing, plus some great antique and vintage ones, throughout the month. Check out the link for details.

Deal, which is worth a trip, also has a great Saturday vintage market. The old town is awash with stylish cafes and shops too, plus a beach and a pier. Fast becoming, THE place to be seen !
